I am magsfirst and i am in the middle of claiming back my bank charges,I wrote to the Halifax in March asking for my bank statments finally got them in july. wrote back asking for refund received letter 22nd August saying they were sorry and were looking in to my claim, Phoned them two weeks ago and was told they were dealing with a lot of claims and they would get back to me within eight weeks and if this was not good enough it was up to me if i wished to take it futher. I received a letter on saturday with an offer of £162.00 as a gesture of goodwill and Full and final settlement, they also told me they reserve the right to close my account. my claim is for £2098.71 I don,t think I will be accepting there offer so the fight goes on.
