Hi, I have a Company Bank Account - the charge for a letter telling me I had gone over my overdraft limit was £10 then raised to £12.50 and is now £15.00 - they also charge higher interest on the (I presume only on) the unauthorized amount, my question is would these amounts be considered punitive?
How much does it cost a bank's computer to generate and print a standard letter? Even if you build in software development costs, the answer is not very much at all. By far the most expensive part of the letter issuing process is probably the cost of the second class postage.
