hsbc make second offer???

well well, guess what happened this morning - not sure if this has happend to any one else but HSBC icon

upped their original offer!! after i sent mondays(10th sept) letter back rejecting their first offer saying i would accept their original offer ONLY as part payment , they have offered me almost the full amount (minus what it would cost me to take them to court basically) so... thats me a happy bunny then! anyone else have a second bit at the cherry off them?

the time scale has been really really fast too, my prelim letter was sent only 4 weeks ago!!!!

SO, as soon as the monies cleared i will be donating something via paypal icon

I suppose it depends on your personal circumstances, but its worth bearing in mind tha no case has gone to court yet, and they would rather pay out than go to court (inmho). but good luck anyway.

I rejected my offer and told them I was confident I would be successful in my action for the full amount and that if I did not receive it within 7 days then i would initiate my action adding 24p daily till judgement or settlement for charges + 8% interest icon

+ costs and I would also add a claim for the interest I had already paid for the unlawful charges, which I didn't add on my original letter as I wasn't aware you could I was going to add my own administration costs as I had to buy new ink cartridges which set me back £60....... think thats who we should go for next, ink cartridge maufacturers!
