You can try and claim for almost anything that isn't covered by your own house insurance, however to claim for stress is quite a grey area in the industry as generally you need to be diagnosed with post traumatic stress syndrome before this can be put forward to an insurer. Keep receipts for any money you have paid out and keep phone bills etc.
