After sending 3 letters asking for the grand total of £890 back Natwest today sent me their gesture of goodwill being £460! Can i accept this as part payment or should i go back with a counter offer asking for £890 without interest.
are you ready for moneyclaim? if so go for it! dont back down now go for the lot! if you want you can write and tell them you accept it only as an interim payment against the total, good luck!
I QUESTION THEREFORE I AM!!
Unfortunately i'm not an expert in any given field legally and my advice and that of the Consumer Action Group and the Bank Action Group is given without prejudice and without liability so please if in any doubt whatsoever seek help from an insured qualified professional. Accept 460 as partial settlement without interest and tell them you will be pursuing rest through court if neccassary and then will add interest.
Ok I will accept it as part payment towards the full amount. I will come up with a nicely worded letter saying this. if not i have registered with moneyclaim and was halfway through filling it in as today was the deadline day for them getting back to me.
I am also pursuing claiming back fees from my old Barclays account, a barclaycard and 3 other old credit cards. hopefully should get a fair bit back from all these, will keep you updated and will continue to use your advice
