Hi
Just recived letter today from A&l in reply to my first letter asking for refund, saying their chargers are OK and they will not refund. do I wait untill the 14 days are up or do I send the lba in reply to this letter?
Think the 14 days is used as a guide for giving them sufficient time to consider and reply.
As they have now told you to clear off, and are unlikely to change their minds if you did give them the full 14 days, I think you would be within your rights to go ahead with the next stage.
As they've acknowledged your letter go ahead and send the lba(2nd letter) expect to get the same standard letter again (ref: unfair2) saying their charges are correctly applied, wait until the second period of 14 days expires then go ahead and file your N1 at the court. Good luck and don't worry
