Still no news, should I have recieved confirmation from the court that the papers have been served? I'm unsure of the procedure and the time limits now. Expected some bumf from the court explaining the procedure??

I would have thought you would have heard something by now, might be worth checking with the court. Try calling them with your claim number., It has been a bank holiday weekend so that might be why??

I may be wrong, and if so a mod will tell me but I think its 28 days from the day they are served with the claim, not when they respond/acknowledge it.
Good Luck, keep up the fight!

When the Liberals and Conservatives were in opposition they both agreed that banks should pay back high bank charges to customers. Nothing seems to of happened since they came into power as a coalition. PPI insurance has been sorted now they should turn their attention to bank charges and help customers get exorbitant charges refunded.

No Problems, i've been unwell the past few weeks so have had to delay putting in my claim to county court, but i've printed it all out this morning and will be filing at the court when they open at 10am. will keep everyone posted as to what happens. I believe kingliam is correct, it's 28 days from when they are served with the papers.
Well it's finally done, my claim was filed yesterday morning after waiting 2 weeks for the jobcentre to supply a letter so i could claim exemption against court fees. The clerk informed me they have a 10 day backlog so i guess i've just got to sweat it out for the next few weeks to see what happens, will keep you all posted.
