Hi Folks
Firstly thanks for all the info on the site which has finally given me the knowledge and the incentive to take on those lovely people at TSB.Today sent my SAR letter and (not so) eagerly await their reply. I have estimated that I will be asking for / demanding £5000 ..... bring it on TSB!!!!!
Well.. an update, no reply from them yet but its only been 10 days however they have removed my over draft claiming " annual review" funny that my review has always been May(as quoted on my statements) and they have taken to returning items below the £10 threshold. Although it does state on the back of their letters that these will be paid however charges will apply for being over my now non existent over draft! To be fair though when I rang and challenged this ( or rather threatened to take them to the Ombudsman if they even thought about charging me for returning these items) they did state that i would not be charged - ooh how nice of them.
I am seriously considering moving my acct elsewhere if this is how they act when all I have done is ask for my statements. What will they try when it gets a bit further down the line?
Still no information, and have now partially transferred to Natwest, see how long ittakes them to notice I have gone ... probally Tuesday when the next set of charges should go out!
Good stuff, you've followed the best course of action as far as I can see
There have been a couple of cases where Lloyds have threatened to remove overdraft limits and close accounts, but as both don't really seem to be an issue to you any more it should be good

Hi all,
About a month ago I sent the 2nd letter req charges to TSB in Birmingham, I did not rec a reply and was reading up with the intention of taking court action in the new year. However this morning my 2nd letter came back to me via Royal Mail returns centre ( Belfast) saying no one at that address?? Strange being as that was where they sent my statements from approx 6 wks ago and was on the letter to accomp the statements as the contact address. They did not reply to my 1st req and that letter did not return to sender.
Does anyone know the correct address for correspondance or they pulling a fast one on me? Also do I have to send that 2nd letter again to another address or just go straight for court action?
Any hekp greatly appreciated as I am not wanting to screw this one up
Thanks
Glad to hear you've taken the first steps Sal. You haven't mentioned which Brum address you sent your prelim letter to or to which one you addressed your lba (presumably the same?). All my ltsb is saved on my office comp, but if you let me know the address you used, I'll certainly remember it!!
send them an amended letter, explaining your first approach (including the fact that you had no reply) and give them another 14 days. Allow them time for the Christmas break as you will have to be seen as being reasonable in the future. Good luck, I'm sure provided you are diligent you won't need to rely on it!!
Umm thats interesting that you had replies.... thats where I sent mine too... I will send one last one after xmas for luck and see where it goes from here
I did. Not the ones I was after, but then again I expected nothing less. I' served my CC summons 14 days ago and am relishing Lloyds entering a defence! Make sure you post another lba with the amendments mentioned and don't read too much into your letter being returned. In my experience, inept as LTSB are, the Post Office can sometimes match them..
Make sure you get the right postcode and you've no need for a returned letter. Get cracking NOW. It's your money!
Hi all
Wonder if anyone can help... i'm sure its on here somewhere but I cannot find it for looking !
What is the correct address to put on the moneyclaim? I have put their registered adress in London is this the right one?
Do I have to claim interest or will it give the impression that I am running scared to not do? - reason being it is not much money but it would take it over the £5000 and as such into the next payment bracket for the application - another £130 I cant really afford.
Re: Ready to start money claim.. help pls *** PLS MOVE TO SUCCESFUL CLAIM***
I now have a full refund!!! thanks for all your help guys I will donate when I have finished all my claims against them ( having started on my husbands)
Hi
As you may or may not already know (depending how many posts you read) I have recently successfully claimed back just short of £5000 from the lovely people at TSB which was for charges Aug 2000 to Aug 2006. Now.. I may be being a wee bit greedy here but can I claim again for charges they added from Aug 2006 up untill settlment in March? I have had a look around the site but there are just soo many posts it got impossible..
They are going to hate me as I have just started a claim for my hubbies acct which is going to total approx £2000 as well.
Not at all. I certainly would'nt let Lloyds keep so much as a single penny of my unlawfully taken money, and neither should you.
The only thing which may cause you some problems is is you signed a "no future claims" clause as a term of the last settlement.

Ah well that is where the lovely TSB dropped the proverbial .. my settlement came via their solicitors and having just checked it does not state anywhere that there can be no more claims. Bless their hearts they make it so easy for us
Thanks for mentioning it tho, I would not have thought to check that..
