Well here I go, im just getting my letter to request statements ready to send to the bank. Today I called the bank to see if they would refund £94 charges since 10th Aug. I am unemployed at the moment and receiving job seekers allowance which gets paid into my account. I explained to the manager that if I did not receive the charges back that when I get my money on Wednesday I would have no money to live on for a fortnight to which she replied thats not the banks fault. She offered to refund one charge of £28 that would have still left me in the same boat. I am now absolutely seething and cant wait to have the satisfaction of getting one up on them for a change. I only wish I could sue for hardship and distressicon caused. Will keep everyone posted of my progress.

Somewhere in here is a reference that banks cannot take charges from your "living subsistence" if you are on jsa or similar..... I'll try to find it
