Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi got my brothers statements on sat. morning with a note that includes : some statement information arising from the period requested 2000 is manually stored in the form of mocrofinche and does not fall within the data subject access provisions of the DPA.
Is this true? if so how can we get hold of this information?
And if you look at the front of the abbey forum there is a letter there specifically to deal with this issue.
Sadly it wont make a jot of diffierence today.
It may make a difference towards the end of next week when the ICO give their verdict on Abbeys fiche system or of course it may not.
IF you have some statements then use these to make and estimate on or else pay them for the statements.
The choice is yours.
