Hi am very new to all this don't know where to start but Abbey has been slamming me with bank charges.
Without notification they have passed my account to the debt management part of the oofice. I have emailed them asking for a statement of my bank charges and after 3 weeks they replied that they didi not have this info and to contact my local branch. They have also sent me a form Statement of destruction to hand in my cards and chq books. I have just been charged on top of charges. I still have not received a statement of charges for the last 6 years and yesterday I received a letter from a ' debt management Recovery Services Ltd asking for immediate return of my cards and chq book. Basically they want to shut my account down. I have always worked and always been in credit , have been refused o/draft despite this I have no idea where to start can any one help??
