Hi everyone,
I am already taking action against the Halifax and due to put moneyclaim through on Tuesday! yay!
Just been going through my A&L statements from the last year or so (we transferred to A&L from halifax) and just added up £130 worth of charges!! Its amazing how quickly the odd ones here and there add up!
Have people had much success claiming back from A&L?
just about to claim against A/L wasnt going to change bank so glad i looked as people are advising to change cos A/L are closing down accounts. very nervous about doing this but just added up charges for one year and it is £6.00 short of £2.000 so hope all goes well.
Really really dont want to have to change banks as they are so much better than Halifax.
I have still got a Barclays account open.
don't know whether to bother now.....
Im in the process of issuing an Injunction to stop them closing my account, they subscribe to the Banking Code Standards Board which in an airy fairy way tells its members not to close accounts in a tit for tat way. This is the basis of my Injunction plus reasons for not closing due to correct running of account.
