Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I been reading through the FAQ's and following threads of people at a simular stage to myself. I've found the site very useful. Over the last month or so I have sent letters requesting bank charge and personnel information details. I am now in recipt of all the information I've requested.
I plodded through the copy statement info and marked all the charges I'll be wishing to make a claim for.
After I've put together a spreadsheet of all the cost and calculated interest, I'll compose my next letter and ask the Bank if they wish to settle before I have to resort to action.
I'll try and start a thread and keep it posted with how my claim is progressing.
