Hi

We have a liabilty order for this years council tax and are paying it off at £10 per month.

The thing is we moved out on the 30th january and moved to another council area and I was wondering as there 2 months council tax that we shouldn't be paying is the liabilty order still valid as the amount is incorrect and how do we go about getting this taken off.

Regards

The liability order will remain however when you move the amount owed will be reduced accordingly.

have you notified the Council at the place you moved from, if not they will still think you are there and when it comes to the new CT year you could find yourself being charged for there bill as well as the one you are at now. + it will reduce what you owe.
