I sent my first letter to A&L yesterday requesting what charges had been inflicted on me over the last 6 years. As my account is closed i didn't keep my statements.. what happens now? Do i sit tight and wait for them to get back to me?
Just a case of waiting the 40 day alloted timescale now. If you haven't already use this time to read through the site, it really helps if you feel confident about what your doing.
When the Liberals and Conservatives were in opposition they both agreed that banks should pay back high bank charges to customers. Nothing seems to of happened since they came into power as a coalition. PPI insurance has been sorted now they should turn their attention to bank charges and help customers get exorbitant charges refunded.
Should you be offered help that requires payment please report it to site team.

Hi please be aware that each claim is different, hopefully you will get a speedy repayment.
I recieved the usual from A&L saying they think it's fair and it's only credit cards blah blah blah , so i fired off my lba yesterday to them and i now await my reponse...
Just use the mcol template that's in the library. It's all pretty self explanatory as you read through it. Basically you're asking for the amount which you set out with your lba (hopefully you remembered to put the Breakdown in with your LBA) but now you're adding the 8% interest as well
MCOL is simple, its a step by step thing but remember to do it with you as the claimant and A&L as defendant, only saying that because I noticed on one thread that somebody got it the wrong way round. When it ask you to input the defendant address use the Carlton Park, Narborough address as it won't pick up the Bootle one. Once you've completed it sit back and wait for the fun to begin
