    Hi Pete

Welcome to the forum. If you've not yet received those statements you might want to do a SARicon. See the letter templates in the library and then start a thread in the Barclaysicon forum.

Best of luck with your claim

    Hello Clare

Try this, adapted to your circumstances.

    Dear

Further to our recent telephone conversation of (insert date) in with regard to your offer of £1350 I am prepared to accept this amount in partial payment of my claim but take note that I intend to pursue my claim for the remainder.

If it becomes necessary to commence legal proceedings then my claim at that time will include interesticon pursuant to statute and court costs.

I look forward to your reply.

    Yours

Hi Clare, hope the holidayicon is going ok, sorry there was no response on this thread before you went but you appear to have been missed by the team. I hope you got your answer before you went, if not you can start a thread in the appropriate bank forum for your bank and ask in there,

    Good luck with your claim

Check out the Bank templates libraryicon either for the Moneyclaim form or the N1 form. There is a lot of info on there to assist you with filling in the forms.

    Good Luck

Don't let them scare you, that's what they're trying to do

Just sit back and wait for them to enter a defenceicon, probably about 2 minutes before the deadline, then fill out the AQ you'll get through the post and maybe by Christmas you'll have your money, but you will get it, MOTB xxx

I'm in southend, and just about to start in against the woolwich, I'm at the S.A.R. stage right now!

Would be very interested to hear about your experiences as I'm probably going to end up at the same spot you are now!

and maybe by Christmas you'll have your money,
    That, I doubt.

Barclaysicon/Woolwich have been absolute b*ggers in delaying as much as they can. If OP has just started court claim, I would be very surprised to see settlement before February earliest. The important thing is that he'll get it, though!

Apologies to people who I was in the process of helping, I may be gone some time.

If they do not reply to the court claim, then you can ask for judgement. Beware that the bank may apply for the case to be set asideicon, they may give an excuse as to why they didn't reply in time. The court will have sent you a form telling you when the claim was deemed as served. If you read that form it tells you what to do.
