Just got a call from some guy at Barclaycard, wanting me to pay this and next month's bills in advance so he can refund the most recent charges. I told him I'd pay them up to date, nothing more. He also asked when I was claiming charges from... Surely it's all there in the letter supposedly in front of him in my list of charges! I just told him to get on with it before I take legal action. He soon funked off!

They're desperate for me to part with some money. Another call today. She sounded convincing, she said she wanted to ensure I didn't get charged on next month's bill, which is fair enough. £33 minimum payment. Could be worse. Apparently a manager is dealing with my complaint.

Tried to record the call, but my phone ran out of memory. Got it sorted for next time. Oh the wonder of technology, didn't realise until I started my claims that I could record my mobile phone calls icon

Paid the £33 today.

The lad who I got through to asked me where I was coz it was windy, I told him I'm on my way to the court to collect the Court Claim Form to take them to court. I think the poor lad poo'd himself! Ha ha!

Started Court Action on the 17th. Not received any pennies back yet that I was promised after I'd paid them up to date. Wasn't really expecting them to though! Gosh this process really drags. Roll on court. Roll on my money!

Due to start MCOL against Barclaycard myself today

and have had a few recent missed calls from Barclaycard over the last couple of weeks, wonder what they want

Erm, do I need to let the court know that I have received a partial settlement? If so, how? Letter, phone?

Letter to the District Judge, or named Judge if you have been given a name....

Just state what they've paid, as partial settlement, and what remains.

Thought I'd mention a screaming match I had with Paul Smith at barclaycard. If he ever calls anyone - hang up immediately. He will have you pulling your hair out. Fortunately, I can shout the odds, especially if I'm shouting at a man, and got an extra £132 quid. But be warned: Paul Smith:W@^k£*!!!!!
