Hi guys,
somehow a long time has passed since I first read your excellent website to my actual claim for money and action against A&L...!
Now let me tell you my story so far -
charges £1497!! since last Nov!
sent them first letter on 16.6 to ask for full refund, had letter beginning of July stating all charges were ok and legal ... sent them letter before action 3.7, had another letter plus 2nd leaflet on how to do a complaint end of July... thought I'd give them a few more days so change their mind and sent another letter asking again "nicely"... then filed claim on moneyclaim.gov.uk (by the way excellent and easy to use!) on 24.8.
Just got letter by court to say they have acknowledged the claim and now have 28 days to file a defence.
Bit nervous now but still hopeful after having read some of the threads on your website...
So noone has had to go to court yet?
Good luck to everyone and will keep you posted...!
Oh by the way as this was so much fun I have now started to ask for charges by different banks back as well...
