great you can put the shirt away ;megrin:

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Just received a letter from mkdp today for a statement in relation to the debt owed,

they have taken the SARS fee of of 1 pound as payment against the debt.

Should I send them a letter telling them stop harassing me?

They had their chance they failed to prove any debt.

They can use the fee in anyway they wish, however they cannot claim that it is a payment made, by you, to the account. It is an unsolicited gift from them.

I now have had Keynes collections phoning me with regard to the debt,

I told them to go jog as we do not own them anything,

I also said they should make contact only by post they had their chance to prove any debt and failed

I asked what you should do and the general consensus is to ignore them.

Can you block their number on your telephone ? If not, send the telephone harassment letter from the CAG library - Green tab at the top left of the screen.

Not unless they issue a further court claim...with regards the DSAR fee just keep a note and attach your proof of what the payment was for...for future use if needed.

They are entitled to put the CCA and SAR fees toward the account - however, they cannot claim it was a payment made by you to the account should they issue a claim.

My guess is nothing will happen, they will continue to spit out computer generated garbage until they get a reaction out of you.
