Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
My friend sent off the DPA letter for his closed woolwich account around a month ago but has not heard a bean from the Woolwich. How long do they generally take to send the statements?
They are usually quite quick...well relatively speaking, say 2 - 3 weeks.
Might be an idea for your friend to call them to make sure they received his original request, if so, then remind them that they have 40 days to comply, and if your friend sent the request 1 month ago, then probably only 10 days left!!
