Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Halifax, Capital One, The funding Corp, Clydesdale and Egg
Hi everyone,
This is my first post. Im looking to follow the guide and firstly find out the full amount owed back to me in charges.. I estimate at least £2500!
All if the above companies have certainly enjoyed my business over the last few years and now im back on my feet its time to put things right!
I understand after the Data Protection Act letter i have to then ask for the the cash back and from there it could go anyway...
Any hints/tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Shaun.

Hi - take a bit of time to read up first to make sure that you have the facts before going too far ahead. Read the FAQs and template letters then have a good read around here to see how others are getting on. Keep any progress on your own claim or questions that arise in a new thread in the forum for your bank to make it easier for others to follow and advise you. There's a set of links in my sig below that will help you find where all this useful information is. Well done for getting started!
Jeep (The Wife & I)

Halifax Visa (#2) Data Protection Act sent - refunded £170 DONATE - Support this site, it supported you! Follow the route: FAQs > Template Library > Parachute Account > Bank Forums > Spreadsheet All advice given in good faith and without prejudice or liability, to be taken at your own risk!

Hi deegs, look in google and find EMPIRE CLAIMS. they are dealing with charges for me and have wasted no time, and whats better, you pay no money up front i.e. the money paid to banks, credit companies etc, that they ask for in return for accounts info, Empire pay all that and claim it back
