Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.

Don't look so sad. we're all here to help each other.
I know that it all looks a little bit daunting, but try not to worry too much.
I would suggest that you take a few days to familiarise yourself with the site. There is a lot of information on here, and we want to make sure that you don't make any mistakes.
There are links below to the main things that you should be looking at before you start your claim. Print off the FAQ's and the Step-by-Step guide and have a study of that.
Use this thread as your Diary of events, and we will lend you a hand along the way.
Many thanks for your words of encouragement, I did look through the site some days ago and went through everything it has taken me until now to get myself into actually doing something about it. I would like to send my first letter and I will post that to them tomorrow. I did complain about their charges last week and they refunded me £50 of £250 they charged me, they then sent me a letter telling me to look after my account better or they would take my overdraft off me, that was the deciding factor.

These banks do make you laugh don't they. If you haven't already, open another Bank Account elsewhere
I did contact Nationwide to open another account but I am concerned they want to know how and why. I will have a problem If I can't open a another bank account.

I've never heard of a bank asking someone why they want to open a Bank Account. If you are worried - do it online

Hi there.
If Phillingham is your mum, she can attempt to login using that username, and ask for a password reminder. Has she tried that?
