Hi had contract mobile phone with Vodafone, My husband was with o2 and his contract was ending when we got a call from orange to move on their business contract. The offer was cool so we decided to move to them. Orange took details from me and my husband and then said we will need to pay the final bill to each network provider and they will do rest for us.A week later, our new phones with orange were working on our old numbers one from o2 and the other from Vodafone. Later, I received a bill from Vodafone,I cant remember how much but this wasn't call charges. I was on a DMP so passed the details in to GP, (The DMP provider) and they were dealing with them. I decided to deal with my finances myself and am no longer on a DMP ,and would like to be credit free, I. Haven't got any letters from Vodafone and bill statements. They have now they passed my debt to SPC debt collection, and my outstanding balance is £520. Any advice on my case? and can i do anything with them?

Personally I'd let the Vodafone Webteam have a look, Here are their details

Hi CAGlink31.gif members,

We thought it would be nice to introduce ourselves and to assure you all that our presence on CAGlink31.gif is with the very best of intentions.

Vodafone UK has recently introduced a dedicated Web Relations Team which is keen to seek out customers who’re having difficulties with their accounts and feel that they have no other place to turn to than CAG and other consumer forums and blogs.

Naturally, it’s not possible for us to help directly with account specific queries on CAG and as such we would encourage those members who feel we can help them to contact us privately and securely using the ‘Contact us’ form on the Vodafone website with your account details.

https://help.vodafone.co.uk/system/s...PARTITION_ID=1

When emailing us we would also ask that you either provide us with a link to your post or thread – if you’ve posted in another member’s thread please also provide your CAG username so that we can check what your query is – and state the code WRT135 within the body of your email to make sure it comes through to us.As soon as we’ve received your email we’ll endeavour to get back to you as quickly as possible.

Many thanks

Web Relations Team

Vodafone UK.

CAG members contacting us, add the code WRT135 in the subject line in order ensure that email gets routed into our queue.

Someone from Vodafone will look into this for you I'm sure :)

If in doubt, contact a qualified insured legal professional (or my wife... she knows EVERYTHING)

Or send a cheque or postal order payable to Reclaim the Right Ltd.

to

923 Finchley Road London NW11 7PE

Click here if you fancy an email address that shows you mean business! (only £6 and that will really help CAG)

If you can't donate, please use the Internet Search boxes on the CAG pages - these will generate a small but regular income for the site

Please also consider using the

Hi violet.o,

As locutus has kindly suggested we'd certainly like to take a closer look into your case.

Could you email the details across to us via the steps have been posted above and once you receive the automated reply with our reference number just update the thread with this so I can make sure we get back to you as soon as possible?

Kind regards,

Lee

Hi violet.o,

Thanks for letting me know.

You should now have received the automated reply with the reference number that will help me to track it down.

Should you have not received it could you instead PM me with the email address from which you've sent it and I'll trace it from that?

Kind regards,

Lee

Good to see you found this Violet.

For info the reference to GP in the first post is referring to the DM firm.

I have edited slightly to enable some clarity.

Violet is Polish and her English is not perfect.I am assisting her with other issues.
