Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I had a default placed by HBOS, went through the fos, the adjudicator refused to accept my claim stating HBOS had followed the Banking Code. Then I told them default was defective as date it was issued was earlier than stated on their letter, which I held (HBOS sent them a made up copy). there were other issues where they had broke the Banking Code also. It went to an Ombudsman and she admitted this had happened but still refused to overturn the decision. This all took over 2 years!!. Then I receive a phone call from Blair Olover and Scott, HBOS collection dept, the gentleman who stated it should never have got that far and the FOS were wrong to go in HBOS favour.
Why waste our time with these muppets!!
Emailed Natalie Ceeney, CEO for FOS, not heard anything back.
