But if I did, I would want to know why the bank is wasting my money by engaging lawyers, submitting defences to law cases, and then not turning up.
If the bank is not going to defend itself in court, it surely has a duty to shareholders to keep costs as low as possible by settling at the lba stage.
We probably all own shares through our pension funds, which we have no real control over. Interesting how financial institutions are now owned by financial institutions with our money. It is probably unlawful under the competition regulation but i pitty the person who tries to work out exactly what owns what and if there is anyone with any control at all in this whole hill of beans.
