    Default Court Fees Exemption?

I am just about to fill in my moneyclaim, and need some help.

I have already read somewhere on the forums that if you are in receipt of Working Tax Credit with a disability element you may be exempt from the court fees? Is this true? The disability element relates to my husband (we claim WTC jointly) but I am making the claim against TSB on my own. Does this make a difference?

If anyone can help I would be grateful

It may be harder to try get the exemption than just paying it (if you can afford it) as you do get the fee back from the bank (providing you are successful)

    This is true.

If you still contemplate seeking exemption then the best thing is to ring the courts and ask them for clarification.

Thank you. I think that its worth just paying it anyway, after reading through what you have to do a bit further, as I can claim it back anyway, I may as well just pay it.

    Thanks guys for your help
