Small claims form - branch address or head office?!
Hi all,
Just filling in forms for small claims court following lack of positive response from Bank of Scotland.
As I'm taking it to Paisley Sheriff Court shoudl the address of the Bank be my local branch (to reduce concerns about jurisdiction) or can I still use Head Office address. I've got the name of the local branch manager for the form too, is it necessary?
Re: Small claims form - branch address or head office?!
I deliberated about this point too. I plunked for the local branch because it's in the court's jurisdiction whereas before, all correspondence I've sent to the bank has been to head office. I took mine to the court yesterday. Surprisingly, I didn't feel at all nervous. I've never had to take anyone/company to court before!!!!
