My car was involved in an accident about a few months ago. At that time I didn’t claim because I wanted to protect my NCB. There were some minor damage on the car and I intended to pay for the repair myself. However now I decide to sell the car and I’m not going to drive again any time soon. Therefore I don’t need the NCB record anymore. Is it still possible to make a claim at this stage (I have lost the other driver's detail as well since it's been quite a while) ? If so what should I tell the insurance company?

Thanks so much for your help in advance.

You will probably find that it is a condition of your insurance that all accidents are reported as soon as possible after they happen.

All you can do now is ask your insurers for a claim form, fill it in and hope they agree to deal with it.
