Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
After having written 4 letters since last May and still not receiving the statements, I sent an email as suggested by someone on this site. I received a response saying they had sent them in June and again on 9th August. I have never received anything! I don't believe that they sent them. I receive bank statements and letters at my home address, so why not the statements with charges! I wrote back and confirmed they had my correct address and they replied that they did. They said they were going to "action" my request again. We'll see what happens this time. Has anyone else had the same problem with Lloyds? I'm sure they are just using delaying tactics.
You should try and call the bank using one of the numbers on the forum, they sent me half my statements and I had to call to ask them to send the others "Still waiting"
It seems like they are doing there best to delay things as much as possible so charges just drop off the end of the 6 year period.
Probably if they see loads of charges 6 years ago from the request date
I'll wait seven days and if I still haven't received them then I'll call them and start hassling them. I'll phone them several times a day until they get sick and tired of me and then maybe they'll send them just to shut me up!
