Hello All,

I CCA`d MINT last week and they have now replied that they cannot comply with the CCA as I did not sign the the CCA request letter.

My gut is telling me that they "need" my signature to stick on the CCA paperwork and make it all look lovely and above board.

Do they have a legal right to request that I sign the CCA request letter?

Shall I sign the slip of paper they sent to me with a completely ficticious signature and catch the sods red handed when they produce the CCA with the fictional signature?

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

David

If you do sign it make sure you alter it enough so you know if they try to use it. IE. put 2 straight lines through it.

But they shouldn't need you to sign it, i had a similar situation with them but it was sorted out on the phone and they sent the request to me.

Dont get to exited about what they might send you though, usually the same old guff about what they have to comply with under s78.

Blank up to date form and no T&C's.

Good luck

GG

Hello and thanks. So basically they cannot request my signature? I am actually planning to do nothing as the clock is ticking on their 12+2 days and I think it will be in my own interest to let that go on ticking.

BUT the whole argument rests on their legal right (or otherwise) to have my signature on the CCA request letter -does anyone know the exact situation regarding that?

Cheers,

David

They do not need your signature. You have made your request and now the clock is ticking. I wouldnt waste stamps writing to them to tell them what they already know.
