Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I just finalised preliminary letters for three bank accounts with RBS, claiming back a bit more than £2000. I will send them tomorrow recorded delivery to the Senior Customer Relations Manager in Edinburgh. Wish me luck!
I am now entering stage 2. I haven't received any reply to my first letters on 22 August and am now preparing the LBAs.
I sent my first letter to the senior customer relations manager in Edinburgh and was going to use the same address for the lba but checking the Money Claim website I realised the address for any further procedures should be in England or Wales.
Should I use a different address for this second letter or can I just use a different address in two weeks time when starting the court claim?
Hi - thanks for your answer. Can I just change addresses half-way you think and now start using my branch address or are you saying it doesn't matter at all and they are responsible for communicating with each other?
