Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi, I have recieved my statements after a short wait and a very rude letter from Monument, stating that I could have avoided late payment fees etc etc. They state I agreed to pay the extra charges at the start of the contract!!
The charges are £24.00 a throw for late payment, over the limit and returned DD. On one statement they have charged me for all 3. HO HO, they are having a laugh.
I am still going to send the prelim letter, even if they don't think they owe me anything.
Thanks to this great website, I would never have tried this before, will keep you posted.
Whatever I post is just my opinion, no more, no less!
