Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I sent away my preliminary request for payment and received a letter back stating that they wouldnt refund charges as they think they are fair blah blah blah... then said
'We do not accept Office of Fair Trading's findings in relatrion to credit card fees. We are concerned that the Office Of Fair Trading has publicly called into question the setting of charges applied to other products, including current accounts. The Office of Fair Trading has restricted its investigation to credit cards and made no attempt to consult with RBS or the industry in relation to other, entirely different products'
Surely this is no excuse for the unfair charges? Can i still proceed with the lba? And they have failed to note that it is a student account and i should have not been charged a service charge. I did tell them all this in the letter before!
Proceed as per procedure........take no excuses go for the money
It belongs to you...and you WILL get it !
