Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hello, i am writing to anybody who could take the time to reply with a yes or a no or if they think I have a case please.
I have read through some of the faqs but there is a lot or reading material so I have decided to post in the forum before I read any more. My situation is I have a few accounts with the RBS. I had a problem were I was using my switch card, the payment came out days later and took me over my overdraft. next month the bank charges that occurred the month before then took me over my overdraft again, and so on and so on. On an other account I was less than a pound over my overdraft, didn’t realises this for over 6 months (yes I should have checked the statements, but I never did) and ended up with a lot of bank charges on top of the overdraft, on a account that wasn’t used for 6 months. Hope somebody could take the time to reply.
Best regards Gary j.
try speaking with them first, if its your first time then they can usually be quite (i'm going to get berated for saying this but gulp!!) helpful. Whilst on the phone explain your situation and that you willl try and keep within your limits. Its worth a try.
