Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Was just listening to Cameron on TV.
He was saying how its not right that people who live in social housing
eg;Council house or housing associations, are not permitted to carry out any business from home.
He says there needs to be a change to allow this-and Its prob one of the best things that I have heard from the Election spins so far.
This could spur on lots of people who at the moment cannot be bothered to take the plunge into renting offices etc and all the red tape that goes with setting up a small business.
If I was certain he will be pulling this one off-I would certainly give him my vote.
Re: Camerons pledge for buisnesses working from home.
Difficult to post without turning this thread into a political arena but my personal view would be that he will say whatever it takes in order to engage the politically apathetic. Unfortunately I believe this is what society would wrongly refer to as the 'lower levels' of society (basically the forgotten and downtrodden who rightly believe politics has nothing to offer them) and I guess DC is attempting to get this significant number to vote for him in the hope that he'll deliver.
Problem is the Tories hardly have a record of helping the less well off, the moment he gets in he'll be looking after his banker buddies and making sure that all of his very well to do colleagues are able to maximise their riches. Have lost any faith in Labour but liked Gordons attempts to eliminate child poverty etc, all of those ideas were great. As for Lib Dems have to say I'd like to give them a shot as this constant cycle of Labour/Tory control is so boring. Hardly a democracy is it when we just swap between parties every few years and then listen to the other slagging the party in control off when in truth they'd have acted in the exact same way. Really ready for a change actually as haven't voted for a number of years.
Vince Cable and Nick Clegg would do no worse a job than the others and having listened to the televised debate a few weeks back on TV Vince came out head and shoulders over the rest, the only MP to get two or three rounds of applause. Returning to the post though yes, this would be great news for many and a chance for them to help themselves, just don't believe DC is the true voice for that section of society.

Sure, as long as they have a big supply of fairy dust...
Just heard on the news that the BNP is prepared to offer £50 000 for immigrants to leave the country. After 25 yrs here, do I still qualify? It's very tempting!!! I could pay off the mortgage, buy a lickle house in France, and just visit now and then until hubby is ready to retire and then up sticks for good. You've got to admit, it has a certain appeal!!!

That's awful! Do we really want our taxes to be used on paying people to leave? I'd sooner cart all of the drug dealers and similar pond life elsewhere at cost. Many immigrants simply want the same opportunities we're all extremely fortunate to have, yes we've worked for them but if you and your family were living in a hell hole wouldn't we all want better for ourselves?
It's a damn tough issue as we can't take the whole world in and yes, immigration has got out of hand but the BNP take on it is neanderthal at best. Intelligent solutions only please
