Default Lone parents taken off income support with health problems

Just to ask did any lone Parent with health problems get taken off income support last year or this with health problems.

This should not be the case and any lone parent with health problems due to be switched to JSA should be advised to provide a MED3 and you stay n inocme support...this does not happen though- so please be aware if you were taken off income support last year please appeal this and do not take the answer you cannot appeal this, I did (went through cheif excutive)and was transfered back to income support. Now i am going to get a linking rule to back date it to 26th October. Its better you know the rules of the benefits system because the JCP staff do not!

Everyone who has been effected by this has had a letter detailing everything they need to know and all the options open to them

some have decided to return to IS, others stay on ESA or JSA.

    Glad you sorted yours out
But this only effected phase one which ended last December,

Remember though if you are on IS and your child has DLA middle care then you can carry on with IS, this is being missed, and if you claim Carers for that child you will end up with more money, and another condition of entitlement to IS
