Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Client Cartel were the claim farmers for Consumer Credit Litigation Solicitors, both run from the same building, and basically by the same person.
CCLS was taking clients on, claiming to be able to clear old credit card debts / mortgages. For this they charged the client anything up £495.00. The vast majority of client files were never worked on, and were simply filed away in a box once the client had paid their fee.
CCLS was recently intervened (shut down) by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Client Cartel is being investigated by the Ministry of Justice. The Managing Partner of CCLS has been suspended by the SRA pending a full hearing.
Has anyone on here paid money to either of these 2 companies? There is a strong inference from the SRA that there was dishonsety at the core of the entire operation, and this is one of the reasons given for the intervention.
