Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I remember 2 years ago I was skint at Xmas and foolishy applied for a loan when seeing their advertisement in tabloid paper. They accepted my loan request but then stated I needed to pay a £35 acceptance fee which I did.
Needless to say, they cashed the cheque and I never heard anything from them. I did chase them up and everytime I spoke to a guy in their office he would say the money will be transferred in the next few days.
I wonder if they have rebranded as a another company.
The maximum these people can charge for their "service" is £5 - so you are therefore entitled to a refund of £44.
Write to loanfinder and tell them that they need to return to you £44. I did something similar a couple of years ago, but cannot find the letter now for the exact wording.
Don't ring them up as they'll be rude and arrogant once you request a refund. Keep it in writing!
Hope this helps.

EOS Solutions "ceased action on account" on behalf of a friend.
All in all, quite busy at the moment and enjoying every minute of it
I just got done by loanfinder, 49 quid for telling me to apply to provident.
Robbing scum!
I also got done over by Loanfinder, however I got a full refund not so long ago after following advise from this website, they didnt keep any of the momey (which imo is a declaration of guilt!)
Helps that I never actually agreeed to use them, so if you definately signed up and agreed everything might be more difficult but as said above you are entitled to a refund minus a fiver but might be possible to get full amount refunded!
