i have a very slow complaint going through at the moment with the fos regarding about £3000 worth of charges that have been applied to my mortgage by capstone.
As anyone had any joy getting any money back from these cowboys?
Would love to hear any stories that you may have that could be of interest.
Also check out the following thread. Very few have been able to get anything back except that is through the fos. One or two have ventured into court and won as well.

Ill just have too keep going through the fos. I have recieved a questionaire from the fos today about capstone service.
You're welcome Scott. This blogger seems to have provided a one stop shop for challenging the scum.
The fos is like a suit of armour. And you will win through the FOS. If they try to repo you it's your first line of defence. The court will not do a thing until the FOS has completed their investigation.

Hi, I too have a complaint going through with the FOS at present, yes as I understand, it will take some time. After speaking with them they deal with a number of Capstone complaints and are aware of what Capstone are like. I told them everything that Capstone had done in my complaint. Did you send for a SAR from Capstone? Did you get any computer notes with it? Just give the FOS all the info they require I'm sure it will come out good in the end.
I have recently had over £400 worth of charges repaid by SPPL. Then they immediately charged me £75 and then £115 which they told me is for charges because I was late with my payments, which I wasn't. They are looking into these too and I will keep on their back to make sure that they are also repaid. It's nice to be able to phone them repeatedly and demand money from them, the boot on the other foot!
