    Default £1 a week

Am I right in saying that if you are paying £1 a week to the unsecured creditors, they cant/wont take any further action?

I doubt it. However if it is all you can afford it will not be worth them taking you to court. The court will only make you pay what you can afford.

If they think you can afford a lot more they MAY think about taking you to court.

Surely they would rather £1 than nothing at all for their troubles

Yes they would. But if they think you can afford a lot more they would prefer that and may decline your offer.

Ultimately it can be expensive to take you to court so they may accept in the short term. All depends on your circumstances.
