Thread: Help please! Welcome finance hp car.

Hope somebody off here can help. I was recommended by a friend.

My situation is...

I got a car on HP via a local dealer who introduced me to welcome as the funder in December 2008. Everything was fine up until september 2009 when I lost my Job.

Since then I have missed payments and unfortunately crashed the car during the bad weather in January. To make matters worse, my insurance had expired. The car is a mess.

Welcome wrote to me last week saying my HP agreement has been terminated and they will either repossess the car or apply through the courts depending on how much I have paid. (Im sure its about £100 less than a third).

I dont know what to do. Shall i tell them the truth that its a mess. Im willing to pay them what I owe on a monthly basis till the debt is cleared
