Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Am looking to send CCA requests for a couple of Barclaycards and have read a few posts and threads which appear to show that BC are finding ways out of supplying the original paperwork.
Is it not advisable to send a combined CCA/SAR (if that's possible) to prevent them from avoiding sending out all the information required.
Also, if anyone can help, who do I write the Postal Order to and how can I prevent them (BC) from crediting this to my account instead of for the purpose of the CCA/SAR?
If you also want to see if your credit agreement is enforceable, send off a CCA request. Template is in the debt collectors Library. The letter includes a para which says the £1 fee (made payable to Barclays Bank PLC) must only be used to pay for the CCA request.
