Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
It depends on who the allocated IP is, if they visit you. Mine did and was the best thing that could have happened but many say that they just deal via post and email with their IP.
The will not question any recent 'transactions' only anything that could be a bit dodgy from when you applied for BK
you do not go to jail for debt
you will still be able to vote
and I bet you won't do it again

He even transfered £4000 to a bank in Poland from my account duh!!!
as I said the police cannot do anything
I am a wee bit cheesed off by the HBOS as I went from having a £3500 credit balance to owing the £9300 in the space of 4weeks!!! all cash withdrawals or transfers
I have changed my bank account to a basic cashcard with Barclays so at least I will have some money to live on
I know I have been conned but I suppose I have learned a harsh lesson
If you left me alone in your house whilst you poped out for some milk and you came back to an empty house I have no doubt that I would be arrested and charged with theft but not breaking and entering. I failed to see why the police won't regard what happend to you as theft untill I considered that it might inconveniance the banks and make recovery of the money a police problem rather than your problem

This is so true Chris but the police have said it is a civil matter and they cannot help Its like I have loaned him the money to give HBOS a wee bit credit they tried to recall the monies from the Krakow bank but the account had been closed I suppose I could try a lawyer but prolly just throwing good money after bad
Sorry to hear of your situation, I am considering bankruptcy also, for a whole host of different reasons though. You did nothing wrong apart from trust a guy who you thought was on the level. I don't think you will see a penny of your money back given the fact this chap resides in Poland. You are not and idiot, although I bet you feel like one. We all make mistakes.
