Hi all my first post but hopefully you can advise me whats going on with my problems!
I hav a barclaycard and tesco credit card in debt
Calder are dealing with the first,I have been dealing with them and mercers for months, i can only pay token payments as advised by the CCCS but still get the usual weekly phone calls, only this morning i recieved a letter stating that Calder were unable to contact me and now they have instructed the local debt collector to vist me to arrange a repayment method!!
I phone them up this moring and contested this, i have always called and talked to them about my debt and i felt this letter was threataning etc, i got a standard report read back to me, when i asked to talk to his superiour i got fobbed off there as well,he basicly said it was a standard letter and when i asked if They had talke to a debt collector he said it was an "option", after i reported it was bullying and a lie i put the phone down on him, is there any thing i can do about this tactic?
Regarding the Tesco card and Newman & co
They first contacted me last wednesday, the young lady listerend to my plea for poverty!! and gave me the company bank details and asked i start paying the £1 token fee,
then on Friday i took another phone call from them, i explained i had allready talked to them and arranged a repayment, the chap on the phone had no such record on his computer of the call and the young lady was not back till Monday! He asked if i would talk to a supervisor i said no he needs to and to this young women when she gets back in and find out why my arrangement was not logged on the company computer,
Well...I took another call today (wed 10th)By another chap asking for £5 payment as i had paid this on one occasion as a goodwill gesture, He also had no recolection of the first call with the young lady i told him i have arranged to pay back £1pm, he then left to look for the recored call with the first lady!!
where do i satnd on this one
sorry for the long ramble i could go on!
any help much appreciated

first stop calling them all, everything in writing then they cant change their stories
calders and mercers are the same group of fools, so send them a phone harrasment letter first, if they continue because the dont seem to like coming ot any arrangements by the cccs, you then send em a cca request for the agreement.
tesco.s set up the payment arranged by yourself by Standing Order at £1 a month, if they dont like it then cca them as well.
also if you are using cccs why are you dealing with them at all?

"also if you are using cccs why are you dealing with them at all?also if you are using cccs why are you dealing with them at all?"
the CCCS will not handle my debt only advise me, as they say the total amount i have coming in will not leave me enough to pay all my creditors what they want on a debt manegement plan!!
The tesco one has not been set up yet only agreed in principle last week. But now they are saying no record of the agreement was recorded by the young lady who set it up.
