Hey, i applied for a loan with 48hr finance for £1000.
They have asked me to pay a security deposit of £62, which is the first months payment of the loan into the post office, then they will release the funds direct transfer into my bank account, then i will recieve all the paper.
Does this sound ok, before i pay this £62 ??? Or anyone had any dealings with 48hr finance ??
They're a broker, regardless of outcome - majority of the time they won't even look around for a deal - they'll take the payment charge, and when they do get you a deal it's for a lot less than you want, and only a provisional agreement.
[problem], massive [problem], they will take money from you, do nothing and then if you complain make you wait abut 6 weeks for a refund and keep a fiver of it for 'admin fee'
my advise dont bother, if u need a 'larger' loan try provident, their rates are extortionate but they are legitimate and reliable and come to your door to collect and the collection agent for my area is very nice.

they said that they will come tomorow to my house and give me the 3000pounds and then they will collect the 55pounds first monthly installment from me tomorow after they give me the 3000pounds. is it safe?

I was under the impression that for a loan repayable by monthly instalments, the first instalment would be due not less than one month after the date of the agreement?
As an extra thought, I wouldn't feel comfortable as an employee for the loan company walking around with £3k to give to a customer!
no its for businness
i really need the money
what do u think i should do for tomorow when they come, i have to count the money properly and do i have to check if the notes are real or not ? or do i trust them on that? what else do i have to do
Is it a proper business loan (ie did you tell them the money was for business purposes)? What's the APR over what period? Have you thought through what will happen if you can't meet the repayments?
If you have someone coming to you to pay the money, just think of all the harrassment you'll get if you can't afford to pay.
If you do decide to go through with the loan (which at the end of the day is your perogative), definitely watch them count out the money and then double check it for yourself. Try not to accept £50 notes and don't accept any of the old style £20 notes.
Get hold of a note-checker pen if you can (do you have a Staples shop or similar near you?), fan out the notes and run the pen along the lot.
Finally- TAKE AS MUCH TIME as you need to READ THROUGH any paperwork they ask you to sign. Don't be fobbed of with their spiel of "oh that's just for such and such, it's all standard" BS.
They are on your property, so don't let them make you feel uncomfortable.
Oh and don't offer them a cuppa (just because lol).
yes i told them the loan was for business and the loan is for 5years but im sure i can collect the 3000 in about a year and pay them off, the reason i sed 5 years was becoz i cnt afford to pay a big amount to them per month. so 55pounds per month is affordable for me. im on benefits so i can definatly pay them every month if i save 55 from my benefits every month.
thanx for telling me the paperwork stuff,
i forgot about that, that theyre gona make me sign sum stuff. yeah i will read it carefully. i dnt think i cn get hold of a note checker. but i will check each note indivually. why did u say that the notes shudnt be in £50 pounds?
erm i woke up and they rang me like at 10:15am and they sed that i need to go to my post office and then do a money gram on there name and address ,, thats when they told me that THEY ARE IN INDIA. they sed i have to pay the 55pounds through money gram and then give them a call. so i send the money then gave them a call, they asked for the reference number. i sed you can hve the referecne number when u come to give the 3000/and they sed give it now so we can confirm that u acutally have sent the money. so i gave it them on the fone and they sed they will fone back after 15mins to let me know wen they will come to my house to give the money and THEY HAVNT RANG BACK and its been ONE HOUR. thats my 55pounds gone actually , 60pounds coz i had to pay extra 5pounds for the money gram fees.
they just rang back and now the guy has changed his name from CHARLIE BROWN TO EDDIE. And now he's saying that he is a solicitor and is asking for £149 pounds solicitor fee lol. THIS IS DEFINATLY FRAUD
im literally crying. my benefit money came today and i gave it all to them throught money gram. im so unlucky, im gona have to starve for 2 weeks till my next benefits payment
No - definitely NOT 999 - get the number for your local police station and ring them. Better still take your receipt for the payment you made this morning and the details of how you applied for the loan down to the station in person - ask to speak to a fraud officer.
