Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
After looking through my credit file I noticed Natwest and a DCA (spit) had two listings for one account. Rather than go down the CRA route I contacted Natwest direct and they informed me today that it was "unfair" that there were two listings for it and it would be removed. Its not unfair Mr Natwest its illegal and against the data protection act and ICO guidlines. Still its removed so I'm happy.
One other gem of information the letter also stated that it takes 4 days to remove data from CRA files.
My next battle is with HFO services for an incorrect default date. Its 15 months difference from the OC date.
