My mum is claiming her charges and Im helping her along with this site.
Total £1030
She asked for statements, received them, asked nicely for the money back, was offered £484 (this is reducing fees down to £12 each)
I am in receipt of your letter of (date) and note its contents.
With regard to your offer of £484 I am prepared to accept this amount in partial payment of my claim but take note that I intend to pursue my claim for the remainder.
If it becomes necessary to commence legal proceedings then my claim at that time will include interest pursuant to statute and court costs.
If she can afford it my advice is to accept nothing.
It's a waste of time anyway as they will probably only agree to pay your mum if she agrees to consider it to be in Full & Final Settlement of her claim.
Despite them lowering their charges & telling consumers falsely that their new charges have been set by the OFT. You will still recover ALL of your charges so proceed with your FULL claim.
