Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
hi all, my wages are due to be paid in today and because of a '' computer error '' on there side, i wont be getting paid till '' possabliy sunday sir !'' . i asked if i now may claim admin charges as i was charged £54 for beeing £3 over drawn. with my wages ammounting to about £2500 i think i could make a tidy sum!
Just as well HBOS had paid up this week otherwise I would have been right up shyte creek without a paddle.
I called up HR and they told me they had been informed by A&L that they had a bug in their system, and therefore cannot process my wages, and would hope to have it done by 12:30pm. When I had called HR it was 1:00pm so obviously they hadn't manged to sort it out - as the HR Rep duly noted.
Looks as though I will be switching back to the Halifax! Just as well I hadn't closed the account.
I agree. They are a bleed'n joke. This is meant to be my parachute account and I just find the Bank beyond hopeless
I've also just discovered no wages paid in today. On their internet banking site they are saying due to a technical error wrong balances are showing on the internet and at ATM machines - no mention of their computer error. Let's just see if they try to make any charges for dd's due off in next few days if they don't sort out the "technical problem".
No wage in bank for me neither. I think i'll send them a letter and tell them that i am charging them £34 for the inconveniance they have caused me by not getting my wage in on time (i've got bills to pay you know) . I shall also tell them that i am charging them £25 if my wage isn't in by sunday(day 2) and another £25 if it isn't in by wednesday (day 5). Not to mention the interest of shall we say 1p a day. ha ha ha
