does anyone know what happens i have just sent my renewal dla form back not realising it was due to expire , i have a mobility car what happens with this if i dont get my reward back in time , did not realise they take so kong to process claims so i could be up to 3 months without any payment , will they take car or ask me to make payments ?
Motability will grant you 6 months use of the car free whilst going to appeal, so I would take it that would be the same for renewal, then when your renewal is confirmed they will just request the motobility part of the DLA from DWP.
We are currently going through an appeal and also have a car, and Motability have been fantastic.
