    Default Banking in N.I.

hello there, just introducing myself to this ever so interesting of forums. before i get too carried away however, does anyone know if the same banking codes and laws apply to N.Ireland? fair enough N.I. is part ofthe U.K. but it has it own laws and the banks are more like a cartel than a legitimate banking operation
